Ripped & Raised: Hyde Park Overhaul

This residential transformation in Austin’s historic Hyde Park neighborhood involved removing several hundred feet from the rear section of the home to make way for a major two-story addition. The build-out significantly expanded the living space while preserving the character and charm of this classic Central North Austin property.

In the early photos, you can see where we demoed the back portion of the house and temporarily boarded up the exposed area. The following images highlight the framing and completion of the new addition, which included new rooms, updated structural elements, and modern finishes throughout.

From demolition to final trim, this project showcases our ability to seamlessly integrate old and new construction while executing major structural changes efficiently and safely.
